W dniu 21 października 2022 roku odbędzie się XIX Konferencja „Profilaktyka w Medycynie”. Konferencja będzie prowadzona w formie hybrydowej. Miejscem Konferencji jest Aula Uniwersytecka im. Prof. W. Zahorskiego w Katowicach-Ligocie. Będzie również możliwość prezentacji doniesień oraz śledzenia obrad w internecie poprzez specjalny kanał youtube, z bezpośrednim przekazem online.

Celem Konferencji jest propagowanie zasad promocji zdrowia oraz profilaktyki pierwotnej i wtórnej schorzeń z różnych dziedzin medycyny. Prezentowane będą oryginalne wyniki badań własnych, a także rekomendacje towarzystw naukowych oraz praktyczne tematy z zakresu codziennej praktyki medycznej.

Konferencję rozpocznie Konkursowa Sesja Studencka i Doktorancka, w której studenci kół STN oraz doktoranci przedstawią prezentacje ustne z zakresu promocji zdrowia i prewencji schorzeń. W wersji stacjonarnej oraz elektronicznej prezentowane będą prace zakwalifikowane do Sesji Plakatowych Studenckiej i Doktoranckiej. Nauczyciele akademiccy, eksperci ze Śląskiego Uniwersytetu Medycznego w Katowicach oraz zaproszeni goście, eksperci z UJ Collegium Medicum w Krakowie, z Uniwersytetu Medycznego w Łodzi, z Centrum Medycznego Kształcenia Podyplomowego w Warszawie zaprezentują wykłady z zakresu profilaktyki schorzeń sercowo-naczyniowych, diabetologii, onkologii, geriatrii, dermatologii, psychiatrii a także chorób zakaźnych. Tematyka Konferencji powinna zainteresować studentów i doktorantów, a także lekarzy rodzinnych oraz specjalistów z innych dziedzin medycyny, pielęgniarki, położne, fizjoterapeutów.

Organizatorem Konferencji jest Katedra i Klinika Kardiologii WNoZ w Katowicach przy współudziale Samorządu Doktorantów SUM oraz Studenckiego Towarzystwa Naukowego SUM.

Zachęcamy Państwa do uczestnictwa w Konferencji. Rejestracja odbywa się poprzez stronę internetową naszej Uczelni. Zapraszamy studentów i doktorantów z polskich i zagranicznych uczelni medycznych do zgłaszania streszczeń prac oryginalnych do 15 czerwca 2022 roku, które będą poddane ocenie przez recenzentów i kwalifikowane następnie do programu Konferencji. Prezentacje prac studentów i doktorantów mogą być przedstawiane w języku polskim lub angielskim. Referaty programowe prowadzone będą w języku polskim.

The 19th Conference "Prophylaxis in Medicine" will be held on October 21, 2022. The conference will be conducted in a hybrid form. The place of the conference is the University Hall Prof. W. Zahorskiego in Katowice-Ligota. It will also be possible to present reports and follow the proceedings on the Internet via a special YouTube channel with direct online transmission.

The aim of the conference is to promote the principles of health promotion and primary and secondary prevention of diseases from various fields of medicine. Original results of own research will be presented, as well as recommendations of scientific societies and practical topics in the field of everyday medical practice.

The conference will start with a Competition Student and Doctoral Session, in which students of STN clubs and doctoral students will present oral presentations on health promotion and disease prevention. The works qualified for the Student and Doctoral Poster Sessions will be presented in the stationary and electronic version. Academic teachers, experts from the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice and invited guests, experts from the Jagiellonian University Medical College in Krakow, from the Medical University of Lodz, from the Postgraduate Medical Education Center in Warsaw will present lectures on the prevention of cardiovascular diseases, diabetology, oncology, and geriatrics , dermatology, psychiatry and infectious diseases. The subject of the conference should be of interest to students and doctoral students, as well as family doctors and specialists in other fields of medicine, nurses, midwives, and physiotherapists.

The organizer of the conference is the Department and Clinic of Cardiology of the Faculty of Health Sciences in Katowice with the participation of the Doctoral Students' Council and the Student Scientific Society of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice.

We encourage you to participate in the Conference. Registration takes place via the website of our University. We invite students and doctoral students from Polish and foreign medical universities to submit abstracts of original papers by June 15, 2022, which will be assessed by reviewers and qualified for the Conference program. Presentations of students and PhD students works may be presented in Polish or English. Program papers will be conducted in Polish.
